The Hall of the Dark Ones

I run as fast as I can, yet the dark man still pursues me. The man is now at the end of the hall. He raises the weapon in his hand as I feel a sharp sting in my leg. He is upon me now. Two flashes later and my silent world is now blind.

Real Stuff

This week I going to go through pictures I've been meaning to edit and actually edit them to get on here. I've noticed that all of my stuff is just pictures, so, over next weekend I'm going to scan some of my actual artwork to put up here. Two weeks ago, I was going through some of my childhood papers, laughing at things I thought at the time. In one of the boxes I found some old paintings I had done for art classes in second or third grade. A couple of them were, surprisingly, fantastic! I will be scanning some of these and I'll need to pretty them up because when I originally created them I didn't know what I was doing, so they are slightly sloppy. This weekend, I'm going to try to steal my mom's Canon REBEL XTi with 200x so I can take some awesome pictures here in Springfield. Well, that's my creative process this month.

The easiest way to say this with all its pomp and frills is that, I am just an average guy. If you are the type of person who delights in reading these types of things, then you should not be disappointed.

What I wish to be one day has changed many times throughout the years. At the earliest of memories, I wanted to be a firefighter. As I entered maturity, I aspired to be a video game programmer or designer. I then realized that I had neither the skill nor the talent to program or design. I examined my life and I realized that I enjoy reading and music. Combine the two, and you would be better off to not be near me. If you happen to be near me, then prepare to have your ear talked off by me describing the beauty in the literature or melodies and how two completely different mediums can come together to create an entirely different experience.

If you haven't guessed by now, I am studying to become an English Major. English Education, to be precise.I am currently studying at Missouri State University. I hope to become an English teacher in Oregon with a comic book shop on the side. I can never quite get the hang of the ends of these types of things, so shall I end with a quote, perchance? "and then, fighting to stay asleep, wishing it would go on for ever, sure that once the dream was over, it would never come back...you woke up."
